Coconut lime body scrub

Coconut lime body scrub

This is such an AMAZING and refreshing body scrub - perfect for our upcoming summer!

I’ve chosen Lime for this recipe, but all citrus oils may assist to detox the body and skin so you could substitute in any other essential oils including Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange, Tangerine, Bergamot or even the Young Living Citrus Fresh blend which has a hint of Spearmint!

Adding the epsom salt makes it more of a detoxing scrub, so you could add more of this in place of sugar, or if it’s for the face you may like to just use sugar which is a little softer.

Raw peppermint slice

Raw peppermint slice

This must be my most gourmet raw dessert yet - it just looks amazing and packs a punch of flavour!

It was inspired by a Food Matters recipe and thought I’d experiment with a peppermint essential oil recipe as I’m always using orange flavouring for raw desserts. And the outcome was pretty delicious!

What’s great about this is that all the ingredients are real and there are no hidden additives, flavours and colours. It’s full of healthy fats that will balance out the sweetness and keep you feeling satisfied so you won’t be hungry within half an hour!

Raw chocolate mousse

Raw chocolate mousse

When I first learnt about this recipe - I was soooo excited!! If you have a chocolate or sweet craving then this is one seriously healthy version of it, just make sure you use raw cacao (versus the processed version which is cocoa).

And this easy recipe is perfect just in time for Mother’s Day, and what a cheeky way to sneak in some healthy avocado into your kids (just make sure you blend it well to make sure there is no evidence of green avocado chunks)!

Soothing muscle blend

Soothing muscle blend

Over this last month, I have made a blend of essential oils specifically for relaxing muscles and supporting healthy ligaments and joints for about 8+ people! Think of knees, lower back, shoulders, neck, hands, wrists, fingers – I have been so amazed at how people have told me they feel after only a few minutes!

The great thing about the oils used in this blend is that they’re all in the Everyday Essentials kit too which is the kit I chose when I first joined Young Living. Having a set of 10 oils there really allows you to try each one for yourself and experiment with which ones you prefer and which ones work better for you.

Natural lavender face scrub

Natural lavender face scrub

Over the last few months I’ve been looking at removing more chemicals from within the home, and this is where I came across the Young Living Essential Oils. Wow I was absolutely blown away, and they’ve really supported my and my family’s health in ways I wasn’t expecting! I’ve written about my experience so far here.

And the latest use for what you might think of as an ‘old school’ oil – Lavender, is within a natural face scrub recipe. My beauty routine consists of washing my face with honey, and then using coconut oil as my moisturiser… so you can imagine that I won’t introduce things that I don’t see a benefit from and I like to keep it simple!
